Great thanks. Don't know how to use this list so hope this reaches you. As you say mplayer -vo xv seems to stop what I discover is called "tearin= g" or "shearing". It is caused by the framebuffer being sort of out of syn= c with the monitor screen. -vo gl does not work with me. Thanks again =0A=0A=0A
