Not for the decoder specifically, but try playing around with the -really-quiet
option. Excerpt from the manpage:
-really-quiet (also see -quiet)
              Display  even  less output and status messages than with -quiet.
              Also suppresses the GUI error message boxes.

I think it is likely that this will do what you want, since your problem seems
to be with the error message boxes.

Have you tried UTF-8? UNfortunately, I am not sure if the Windows Mobile
platform supports it, but it is worth a try in case it happens to be.
