it seems quite opposite, i.e., gcc-2.95.x is better. So I doubt that even if *all* known bugs of gcc-2.9six are resolved there will always be some performance issues. And thats a very important matter for video applications. I would suggest folks not to be too impressed by redhat/mandrake propaganda. thanks - Nil
