I noticed that yesterday, too. From what I know (and reckon), previously
the cache in dvdnav made it impossible to seek , which is now possible.
Menus still are a problem with cache, though.

With some DVDs I get strange seeking behavior without cache, though,
sometimes I press arrow left to seek forward 10 seconds and I get a jump
backwards of 5 seconds or 1 seconds, and sometimes it plays always from
the same position on any seek, only letting it play for about a minute
or more, the seeking is normal again...
