[MPlayer-users] Deinterlacing by scaling 0.5 and doubling fps

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for; I was expecting good
results and am not disapointed.

I tried this on two different film formats, and it did not work without
additional options.

1) MPEG-TS 1920x1080: I used these options: mencoder -vf tfields
-demuxer lavf -mc 0 -noskip
It turned out to be an excelent conversion of *.MTS files to a playable
format.

2) For MPEG-PS 720x576: I used these options: mencoder -vf tfields -fps 50

Results are great.
