Given that this is a H264 encoder, MPlayer is a playback-only application,
MEncoder's native code does not contain any kind of H264 encoder and MEncoder is
unmaintained, I have to repeat: What is the problem you are trying to solve?

(I do not recommend to repeat your post on ffmpeg-users, but I just found this
roundup issue - http://roundup.ffmpeg.org/issue184 - that is very old and is not
very clear formulated.)
