[MPlayer-users] Choppy video, abrupt stop

My apologies for incomplete information. I had initially wondered if there was something wrong with the drive, as I had been able to play a DVD by just clicking on the name.
Just tried it with command line, and it works nicely. Below is the command line and information for the segment I watched:

My concern was that I don't recall needing to use dvd:// another time I watched a video. I don't watch videos very much on my netbook.
