[MPlayer-users] Qualtiy issues with MPEG-4 (danish DVB-T clip)

Hi,

we recently received a bug report from a customer that a particular
channel from his DVB-T network (mpeg-4 coded) doesn't work well with
Ubuntu.

While VLC developers confirmed that there was a bug in VLC 1.1.1 it
now works smoothly with VLC 1.1.2 (64bit).
Unfortunately mplayer (latest SVN) still doesn't work well - although
it already works better than the mplayer version which comes with
Ubuntu,
the sliding text on the bottom of the video can be taken as a
reference for this. This might be more or less a topic for ffmpeg
since it has had the
same issue with the default Ubuntu ffmpeg version (haven't tested the
latest one directly yet).
