[MPlayer-users] Error while playing animated gif file recently

Hi,

I made an animated gif file for a project of ours, and used mplayer (MPlayer
1.0rc2-4.1.2) to play it. It worked fine, until last month. When I attempted
to run the file (using command: mplayer movietowatch.gif), I am getting the
following error message:

*Playing movietowatch.gif
libavformat file format detected.

[mp3 @ 0xa5c880]Could not find codec parameters (Audio: mp1, 32 kb/s)
LAVF_header: av_find_stream_info() failed


Exiting... (End of file)*



I am not sure why this is happening all of a sudden.  Any insights? Are
there any quick fixes?
