I'm now running the following (latest) version of mplayer and I'm still
having issues with smooth playback. The clip mentioned in a previous
post still doesn't play if I use the "-cache" option. OS is Solaris 10
with CDE desktop. The "-cache-seek-min" doesn't make any difference.
An older build "SVN-r30976 (20100317)" works fine.

After only a few seconds of video, the cache counts down to 0% and I
receive "Cache not filling!". It doesn't recover and I need to CTRL-C.
Output is shown below. The file is on the local drive. This happens to
most MOV files. MKV playback is also poor.
