[MPlayer-users] MOV demuxer uses wrong method to get framerate

When using mencoder to encode from 1080p Quicktime ProRes files (hence
using the MOV demuxer to make use of binary codecs) the frame rate is
read incorrectly. It seems to think they are VFR and uses the lowest
frame rate value. The files are not actually VFR although when capturing
in FCP they are flagged as such.

I've raised the issue in other mailing lists and not got anywhere except
that the issue seems to be recognised.

The lavc demuxer reads the frame rate correctly but cannot decode video
as it requires Quicktime binary codecs. The MOV demuxer needs patching
to use the same method as LAVC to work out the correct frame rate or
lavc demuxer needs to be able to use the binary codecs J

If you force the frame rate to be that of the video then it is decoded
ok.

Heres my other bug reports. MediaInfo has the same issues.
