I've now finally created the RC4 branch. It wasn't trivial to find a
good revision that still works with ffmpeg 0.6, but I think I found a
decent one.

Please give it a try if it works for you. I'm very interested in both
positive and negative feedback regarding subtitle and dvd playback
support, as this is something I cannot test right now.

If you are using debian/testing or unstable, you can find precompiled
packages in debian/experimental:

If you're using ubuntu, I've just uploaded the package to ubuntu
maverick, lucid users will find test packages in
