dumpfile alone has no effect.
I probably don't understand what you are trying to do, but you could try -ao pcm
or -dumpaudio (note that they do two completely different things: dumpaudio
dumps your mp3 as-is - in which case you should probably use cat - ao pcm
produces a wav file that I guess you could pipe).
