[MPlayer-users] generating image sequence from avi

Hi all, i use the following command to create an avi video file from
png image sequence:
mencoder mf://images/temp/*.png -ovc lavc -mf type=png:fps=25 -o output.avi

But this command doesn't work at all.
I get the following output, what can be the problem?
