[MPlayer-users] slave mode with fifo is not working on windows

Hi,

i'm trying to use fifo file in windows with slave mode but it seems it is
not working.

C:\>createnp.exe \\.\pipe\foo /P 0x6                                [to
create a fifo file in windows ]

C:\>mplayer -slave -input file=\\.\pipe\foo
MPlayer Sherpya-SVN-r32198-4.2.5 (C) 2000-2010 MPlayer Team
get_path('codecs.conf') -> 'C:/mplayer/codecs.conf'
Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file
get_path('fonts') -> 'C:/mplayer/fonts'
get_path('input.conf') -> 'C:/mplayer/input.conf'
Can't stat \\.\pipe\foo: No such file or directory



fifo pipe streams is different in windows than linux. is there a way to have
a slave mode with windows fifo file? did anyone succeed to have this working
on windows?
