Like this one: http://www.filmweb.pl/video/trailer/%232-23075. It says, that to run this trailer Quicktime 7.6.5 is needed. When I check source code of the site I get what I need, which is url to the .mov file. (In this case it's http://moviesmovies.ign.com/movies/video/article/109/1099443/re_afterlife_trl2_061810_qthighwide.mov). And it plays just fine. So the thing I was wondering about is if there's a possibility to somehow change these unfortunate numbers that Quicktime plug-in identifies itself with? Would there be needed developers' attention or could I do it by myself by editing some files, etc.?

Thank you for your reply, Kiste.
I think that it's not a problem of any of those: not mplayer or mplayerplug-in, 'cause it's not the fault of the application. It's a problem related only to the codecs win32, I presume. But that's only my own recognition of the problem. And AFAIK (correct me if I'm wrong) codec-pack is developed by mplayer team.
On the website I found this info: "*Our binary codec packages* add support for codecs that are not yet implemented natively, like newer RealVideo variants and a lot of uncommon formats. (...) See the *codec status table* for the daily-generated list of currently supported codecs". Also there's a link to the codec status table: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/codecs-status.html. That's why I chose to write an e-mail onto this list.

Please forgive me if I'm wrong. :)

Greets,
K.
