Did you report this?

If not, please open a ticket on http://avcodec.org/trac/ffmpeg (please explain
the problem there for somebody who doesn't know much about vobsub).

Without a sample (and with very difficult to read MPlayer output), I am unsure
if this will be fixed soon.
