[MPlayer-users] M2TS subtitles won't autoload, because...

Hello, I'm having a problem with subtitles in M2TS files.

I want to be able to tell mplayer to automatically load subtitles at
the command line (i.e. -sid 0), but in my M2TS files, the subtitle
track doesn't actually begin until the first subtitle appears, which
is usually several seconds or minutes into the movie. So, I have to
fast-forward to a point after the first subtitle has appeared, then
hit the j key, then rewind back to the start of the film. Is there a
way to tell mplayer that there will indeed be a subtitle track at some
point in the file, and to just start displaying it when it gets to it?
The subtitles are in PGS (Blu-ray) format.

A helpful user on IRC told me about the -tsprobe option, but even if I
specify a large value like -tsprobe 1000000000, the subtitles still
won't show (although it does take a long time to load the file). I'm
not sure if this is because -tsprobe doesn't work on M2TS files, or if
it only works on audio/video tracks (and not subtitle tracks).

I'm using SVN-r34007-4.5.2.

Thanks!
