Well, on this particular BBC HD recording, I can't replicate the frame dropping when playing the 2ch audio track instead of the 5.1 AC3 track. So, vdpau:deint=3 + 5.1 = dropped frames vdpau:deint=3 + 2ch = fine vdpau:deint=2 + 5.1 = fine
