[MPlayer-users] are there some methods make mplayer sync audio to video in slave mode?

sorry, i want to optimize my player  to get performance close to
 moboplayer or rockplayer,  rockplayer can play smoothly even if  in its
soft decoding mode, does the only way to resolve this problem is modifying
 the av sync algorithm ?
