[MPlayer-users] Why is mplayer ~2 sec. to skip to next movie with audio?

Yes. It happens with all movies and on at least on my Fedora and Ubuntu.

When I press return, mplayer exits to bash and then I have ~2 sec.
before mplayer writes anything in bash and then starts to play the
next.

It only happens if the movies have audio in them and I don't use -nosound.
