[MPlayer-users] playing multiple files

Hi,

when I do something like this

    mplayer <file1> <file2> <file3> ... <file(n)>

mplayer plays the first file, then do a kind of "restart", plays the
second one and so on.
All setting like the volume of the playback and fullscreen
mode get lost, when the next file starts playing.

Is there a way to tell mplayer "stay tuned"...so there is no
interruption between the files beside what is needed to access the
next file?
