Could you be a little more specific? Perhaps you could send me one of
these problem MP3 files. I use either ITunes or the Windows Media Player
on my Windows platforms and they have certainly not exhibited any
problem. On my FreeBSD systems with MPlayer installed, I have also not
encountered any problems. I don't have MPlayer installed on my Windows
systems since I see no need for it. Perhaps this problem is localized to
your system which I might add you seem to have forgotten to specify.
