Thanks, I have not known this. I use Mencoder occasionally out of habit.

I've checked this with the latest ffmpeg and it works well. Maybe I just
should switch to ffmpeg then. Also ffmpeg rounds up the length of the strf 
chunk as well, not just the LIST chunks.
