Yes, I know.  I just want to know whether or not mencoder
(or ffmpeg) can produce output files with YUV422 pixels or not.

I don't think it's a bug.  I just want to know whether
or not MPEG files with YUV422 pixels are possible to
be produced by either mencoder or ffmpeg.
