MPlayer doesn't do any special processing, if -ac hwac3 works, it will
send the full audio, including any HD extensions.
Though I do not know if any special tricks are needed to make receivers
actually use that part.
I so far don't even have a setup that can do any spdif at all (except
PCM), so I can't actually test anything though.
