Good morning,

I've got a problem using mplayer with output via a PVR-350 TV-Card.
My System is an Intel Celeron 850 MHz, 512 MB RAM, on board GPU (VIA
VT8623 [Apollo CLE266]) and Sound (VIA VT8623 [Apollo CLE266]).
TV-Card is Hauppauge PVR-350.
OS is ctvdr5 (Debian sarge based) with kernel 2.6.18.1, ivtv0.8.0,
mplayer 1rc1.

The PC is used as a multimedia center with vdr (1.4.3) and
vdr-plugin-mplayer. I've got a couple of .avi videos I'd like to play
on the TV-Screen. The command used that should play audio and video
is:
/usr/bin/mplayer -vo ivtv -ao ivtv -ac hwmpa -vop
lavc=5000:30,expand=640:480:-1:-1:1,scale=640:469 -framedrop -cache
4096 -lircconf /etc/lircrc -subpos 80 -sub-bg-color
0 -sub-bg-alpha -v -osdlevel 0 /u01/video/myvideo.avi

The behaviour is that video output starts, sound is not heard and
after 4 seconds of playing mplayer freezes - reproducible not
depending on the video file.

Video alone works fine, using -ao alsa gets me sound but using that
solution needs to set the -delay option which seems to depend on full
moon for the right setting.

I need some help on this please.

regards,
	Maik
