[FFmpeg-devel] libavcodec-Please reply

Hi all,

I want to install ffmpeg on my system.Please point to the url and the
instructions after that

to install the ffmpeg.Also please tell whether the installation would
correctly generate libavcodec.so and other .so files.

If these .so files can be used with other projects where there is
requirement of ffmpeg.


I tried to use libavcodec.so from some other sources and link that but i am
getting the error

skipping incompatible libavcodec.so
