Yes, but for MPlayer I remember the vast majority were like this, which
gets quite demotivating.

"My" 3 should be fixed, too. Though I have to say that these checks were
not there because I considered them quite pointless, but they do not
hurt either, and in the case of gxf it probably was a bad idea not to
check.
