[FFmpeg-user] avformat_open_input difference between http:<ip>... and rtsp:<ip>/video

HI all,


Could someone explain what is the difference between using http:// , and
rtsp://

My limited Iddea:
HTTP protocol is used to get the streaming information first [ ie: where
the streaming server is, what sort of protocol it supports, etc..],
after than it connects through TCP/UDP to streaming server for data
transfer.

Correct me if i am wrong?
