indeed, these where unintended though, i should be more carefull with my
cvslog messages ...

OTOH, not mentioning everything in the docs might increase the number of
people who RTFS which again increases the average knowledge of mplayer and
improves their programming skills (not to mention their cryptoanalytical
skills for deciphering some of mplayers code...) that all will lead to
more patches and developers ...
predicting the effects of doing or not doing something aint easy ...
