In my experience bad and incomplete documentation simply leads to
software not being used or not being used to its full potential.  I'm
convinced the world is full of projects that failed because nobody ever
saw their potential or bothered to try them out ...

BTW, we don't need more developers and patches, we need more
maintainers, but unfortunately most people seems to be too lazy to do
maintenance duties :-/
