Now I'm puzzled, the man page reads:
vrc_strategy
Ratecontrol method. Note that some of the ratecontrol-affecting
options will have no effect if vrc_strategy is not set to 0.
0 Use internal lavc ratecontrol (default).
1 Use XviD ratecontrol (experimental; requires
MEncoder to be compiled with XviD support).
and according to ve_lavc.c, vrc_strategy accepts values 0-2. You have
written what 0 and 1 correspond to... but what about "2"? It's the old
value, so I'd tend to think that 2 means lavc RC... What do you think?
