mga_vid is the fastest way to play videos on matrox g200-g550 cards
in generall. On dual cpu machines Xv might be faster (last time
i tried it was, but i don't have a dual cpu machine anymore).

The reason why mga_vid is faster than Xv is that it avoids one
memcpy by directly copying into the graphics card memory instead
of first copying into the x server memory and then into the card
memory. This makes, depending on video resolution and cpu a
difference between 1% and 5%.
