please try other VO drivers too!
maybe SDL is broken or just slower than 4 days before, and -framedrop
is not enough to fix it (it is limited by codec)

I've asked for -benchmark (it is an option) results!

mplayer -benchmark [-frames 2000] -nosound file.avi

we'll see the difference of -vo SDL cpu usage.
