Hi,

i think that this isn't the right way to do it - it looks more like a
hack.

-mixer is used for selecting the OSS device and it always changes Master
(or PCM?) volume on that device.
Instead -mixer should be a "hw:.." string for alsa9 and there should be 
a new option, smth like -mixer-channel ? or dunno
