Hi,

you're really really wrong here. MPlayer doesn't use autoconf or
automake. The configure script was written by hand, just like all
Makefiles. If you want to learn how to use autoconf and automake,
study other people's configure and Makefile templates (please verify
that they use the autotools *g*) and consult the info documentation.
