What about the patch libmpeg-0.4.0.diff that is included in the
tarball?

There is one small nit, the output of vd_libmpeg2.c is wrong:

Opening video decoder: [libmpeg2] MPEG 1/2 Video decoder libmpeg2-v0.3.1

This should be updated as well.
