Hi
This patch patch looks nice. Do you plan to commit it Diego, or would
you like me to do it?
BTW: I had a quick look to the lavc section to see what was still to be
done regarding the task your asked me to do...
Well, on the one hand, it looks like "no brainer" (in the sense that you
don't have to know a hell lot about video encoding to use them) options
are documented (maybe with the exception of last_pred)
On the other hand, there still are quite a bit of options (like ibias,
pbias, vrc_init_cplx) that seem to be too technical (so require lots of
knowledge and expertise) to even care to document more than currently.
What do you think about it?
I don't have any doc patches on my pipe right now (apart from XviD-1.1.x
of course ;-) so if you've got suggestions I could see what I can do.
If you're not inspired, that's fine ;-)
... but here's what I could think of:
better vratetol and vrc_* doc (mostly taken from XviD section I think)
vqcomp
*cmp: it's not clear that all the comparison functions numbers are
listed in mbcmp section.
Maybe something like "the following options use the same comparison
function as the one listed at the mbcmp section" could help.
Well, anyway I'm glad that lavc section has a bit improved in a month
period, but this wouldn't have been possible without Loren Merritt and
all the reviewers. Thanks to all of them!
Starting Monday, I won't have as much time as currently to throw at
MPlayer, so if you deadly need something done by then, please speak up
quick! ;-)
Regards,
Guillaume

I'll be Back :
"Too much, too fast. Also, when I came to Hollywood, I was
alone, and I fell in with the wrong people.
I married this great woman, Gladys, and she gave me two lovely children,
and then I got on the wrong path. I think I made every mistake a man can
make and live to talk about it.
But I learned, I got my family back, I got my live back on track and Im
back, stronger than ever. Wait until you see Replicant. I think lot of
people are going to be surprised.
Were going to have a ninity dag
shoot, really take our time to get things right. I really believe that
when I walk into Cannes Film Festival with this movie, Ill be back as
the biggest action star once again."
