This patch, as it is, and after lots of discussion with many devs,
has been dropped (but the manpage update should be saved somewhere).

A different approach for merging 1.1.x changes will be tried
(meanwhile, if you want to try the nice features of XviD 1.1.x,
you still can fetch Edouard's front-end:
http://ed.gomez.free.fr/projects/mplayer/mplayer-xvid4.tar.gz ;-)
