snr is not resolution.

i explained this in several messages, that this snr difference is
irrelevant. compare the snr to the error you already got from mp3,
ac3, or even dts encoding and you'll see that it's trivial. keep in
mind snr is _logarithmic_ so at these insanely high snr levels it's
completely irrelevant.

anyway i also said a 32bit integer mode could be added to lavc, unless
michael or someone objects. but it's not useful imo.
