I have been flicking through your code a little.  Do you have any 
references to the algorithm you are using?

 From my limited understanding of the code, I can't really see how you 
are getting the claimed high quality results?  For example on 
upsampling, are you actually bandlimiting?  If not, then aren't you 
going to get horrendous aliasing?

I've only just started looking at the code, so no doubt I have 
completely misunderstood what is happening.  All the obvious paramters 
seem to be in place for example.

P.S.  Have just been flicking through "jos" 
(http://www-ccrma.stanford.edu/~jos/), and there are a couple of 
references to "libsamplerate being the best quality freely resampler 
available right now".  Clearly just opinions, but based on my listening 
tests so far, it does indeed set a high benchmark.  Interested to see 
what we can do with the lavc resampler though
