I don't know if it was intended as desired behaviour, but I certainly
use it. It not infrequently (for reasons which I can explain if desired)
happens that I'm watching a video in full screen and see something which
I want to come back to later; with this, I just have to pause/unpause,
and there's a nice little timestamp waiting for me on the console after
playback finishes.
