If this can be done outside of MPlayer, it can surely be done inside of
MPlayer, right? What about using mplayer.c as an entry point at the same
place that the code is called for the GUI? I have written a simple Win32 GUI
that entered at the same point. My code is after the GUI Ilde loop (STOP
state). Pretty much it starts the GUI and begins a loop to handle input.
Once a menu option was chosen, it could set up the playtree and then exit the
loop. Once the video finished playing, it would return to this position and
the menus could begin again. This would allow for the code to be practically
separate from the rest of the mplayer architecture. Anyone have any idea why
this wouldn't work?
