i hope you can help me ?!

Pleas can you tell me, is it possible to watch the DivX Movies 
with your software with windows 98/2000 or other alternatives than linux.
because i am newbie on linux ... and have no experience with linux..
is it possible to create linux boot disk to watch the Divx with DVBs Card

please help me
