[MPlayer-users] xvideo extension

dear list users!

i have a preblem with my XFree86

so, i want to set up the Xv, under debian, with i740 chip based card, i
use the xfree-4.1.0 and the log show that it loaded the xv extension:

(II) Loading extension XVideo
(II) Loading extension XVideo-MotionCompensation

but when i run the xvinfo i get:

X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
 no adaptors present

what should be my problem?

ps.: exercuse me for this question, because it isn't mplayer specific, but
i think there will be one user, who can help me.
