[MPlayer-users] Problem with tv encoding

Yup, I replaced my codecs.conf and it seems to work, although with wrong 
colors, rgb16 works, but thats strange, comparing it to a program like avicip 
which does show it correctly (the card is a flyvideo 2000 based on the known 
bt848 chip)

another 2 things if I may:

1. No sound - no matter what I do it's silent. Again - from the logs:

Selected norm: pal
Selected channel list: europe-east (including 133 channels)
Picture values:
 Depth: 16, Palette: 3 (Format: RGB 16-bit)
 Brightness: 32768, Hue: 32768, Colour: 32768, Contrast: 32768
Detected TV! ;-)
Output format: RGB 16-bit
Output size: 352x288

The other thing is that with the mencoder no matter what codec I tell it, it 
simply doesn't work:

Output format: RGB 16-bit
Output size: 352x288
[V] filefmt:9  fourcc:0x52474210  size:352x288  fps:25.00  ftime:=0.0400
Can't find codec for video format 0x52474210 !
*** Try to upgrade /home/hetz/.mplayer/codecs.conf from etc/codecs.conf
*** If it's still not OK, then read DOCS/codecs.htm

(yes, I read there - and I do have Project Mayo's divx files as well as the 
codecs in /usr/lib/win32 and the configure detect them all).

trying:  hetz]$ mencoder -tv 
on:driver=v4l:width=352:height=288:device=/dev/video0:input=0:outfmt=yv12 -vc 
divx4

gives:
