Hi,
Using a CVS version from today I tried to follow the holy documentation:
kisg at alom:~/src/video/main$ mplayer -tv
'on:driver=v4l:width=800:height=600:device=/dev/video0:input=television:outfmt=yv12'
MPlayer CVS-011225-10:52-2.95.4 (C) 2000-2001 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS!)
CPU vendor name: GenuineIntel max cpuid level: 2
CPU: Intel Celeron A Mendocino/Pentium II Dixon (Type: 6, Stepping: 5)

missing parameter for option: driver
Subconfig parsing returned error: -2 in token: driver=v4l
Error -2 while parsing option: 'tv'!
command line: -tv
If I run it this way:
mplayer -tv on
it displays a green surface in the output window, and says, that it plays
using the dummy driver, as stated in the documentation.
Therefore I think, the problem is in the cmdline input parser.
Yes, I have a tuner card, and I can watch TV with xawtv.
Yes, I have /dev/video0 configured.
Yes, MPlayer ./configure detected the tv and tv-v4l interface.

Thanks,
kisg
