Yes. The largefile support is broken somehow.
As it's plain and simple, the only reason can be some undeclared function
(missing prototypes or different prototypes in .h and .c - one with int and
one with off_t)

I've checked some possible things yesterday, but couldn't find any bugs.
But reviewing the whole code needs a lots of time. Also there are many
warnings which should be fixed - maybe we find the problem while doing this.
