[MPlayer-users] SDL and fullscreen with blank ?

Hi,

I use mplayer with SDL, I look for playing video in a resolution and put black background around.
Example: I am in 1280x1024 and want to have the video centered in 640x480...

I have tested the "fs" option but with "-vo sdl", mplayer seems to don't matter about the resolution.
For example, I am in 1280x1024 and I use "mplayer -quiet -framedrop -vo sdl -x 640 -y 480 -nobps -fs". 
It displays the video in 1280x1024 (or it try to ... :-) I haven't got a big config).

I look for it because later I could easily switch in 640x480 ( Ctrl-Alt-+ ).
I have read FAQs but I haven't find it. It is maybe a SDL problem.
So, if I am not understandably or if someone has an idea...
